Charles Friends, President, co-founded Southern Friends Carwash in 2003 to provide opportunities as well as quality services that are so desperately lacking in the Cascade area. He has a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, is an army veteran, and has worked in management for the United Parcel Service for over 30 years. In January, 2002 he retired as the Regional Air Manager at the United Parcel Service to pursue his dream of owning a successful business. All of the start-up funds for this business are provided from his family savings. Charles currently serves as the general manager of Southern Friends Carwash.

Patricia Friends, Treasurer, co-founded Southern Friends Carwash in 2003 also to provide quality services in the Cascade area. She worked as an administrative assistant to the executive and deputy director of the Milwaukee Urban League for five years. She then took more responsibility at yellow Freight Systems as head cashier. Eventually, she was promoted to the treasurer in charge of accounts receivable and accounts payable. After leaving Yellow Freight, she took time to raise three boys and then continued to work with Deluxe Check Printers for a year in the accounting department. Patricia can always be found in the Southern Friends Carwash café greeting and talking with our customers. She feels her greatest accomplishment is raising three men that have set high goals in life.

Charles Friends Jr., Executive Chef, has worked for several restaurant chains including Skyline Chili, Bob Evans, and Red Lobster. He has maintained positions at Marriott Hotels from 1988 to 1993 and from there continued to cook for the Crown Plaza Ravina. He graduated from Moeller High School in 1987 and then from Atlanta Area Technical College in 1993 with a Culinary Arts Associates degree specializing in baking. He has maintained constant employment since 1986 and has always left jobs on good terms to expand his cooking resume. He has been named employee of the month several times at Bob Evans, Marriott Hotels, Red Lobster, and the Crown Plaza Ravinia.

Curtis Friends, Operations Manager, graduated from Morehouse College with a dual degree in Business Management and Spanish, with honors in May, 2002. Curtis participated in the INROADS program and worked in the Human Resources Department at Heatcraft Inc. for three summers. He then worked in the Accounting Department for The Bank of New York in New York for one summer. He was the construction manager for Cascade, and will serve as the construction manager for future projects. Curtis is currently an operations manager at Cascade in charge of the carwash.

Corey Friends, Operations Manager, graduating from Morehouse College with honors with a degree in Business Management in May, 2004. Corey served as Editor-in-Chief of the Morehouse Torch Yearbook for the year of 2003-2004. Corey currently is an operations manager and is in charge of the staff and production for Southern Friends Carwash.

Bobby leads the Southern Friends team outside.  He is responsible for making sure the Southern Friends Carwash experience is of excellence and is speedy.  He has years of experience in the carwashing industry.

James leads the Southern Friends team for details and high level packages. 
He is also responsible for ensuring special requests at Southern Friends Carwash are managed appropriately.  James is a senior member of Southern Friends Carwash.

Marvin leads the Southern Friends Oil Change team.  His team makes certain that all oil change services are provided accurately and rapidly.

Quinton leads the Southern Friends Carwash team.  His team is enthusiastically responsible for the operation of the express exterior services.  They make certain the Southern Friends Experience is pleasurable, quick, safe and excellent.  Quinton has been with the team since 2006.
